I'm Ania Ciotlaus, a self-taught photographer based in Cluj-Napoca, Romania.

My work focuses on finding harmony in the visual geometry of everyday life!

I love experimenting with different kinds of alternative printing techniques and explore the endless possibilities, accidents and imperfections these processes are offering.

I believe that a photograph is completed once it enters the material world.

I want to hold it in my hand like I did when I was a child! Old photo albums, missing pages and a lot of doddling. Guilty of all the above!

I love the ephemeral nature of sharing my work with the raw and unexpected aesthetic of the city. The major part of the prints are part of Cluj-Napoca's scenery while others are enjoying Prague and Krakov's architecture. Some recent ones have seen the streets of Budapest and Paris!
